Well, I can’t remember what I was doing on the Thursday and Friday before, but last week was my work trip to Austin. Every time I travel for work, it makes me glad I don’t have to do it very often. It takes a lot out of me. I’m glad to be home and I think i’m all caught up 🙂
Country music is really the best for summertime.
Yup, that one with the cannons, that you hear at every 4th of July concert, was actually written by a Russian composer! And in honor of their defeat of Napoleon. It actually has nothing to do with American history at all.
I have the day off, so I’m out enjoying it! I hope all of you Americans have a wonderful 4th of July (for me that includes fireworks 🙂
I went into the doctor yesterday for my yearly physical (this was the first “yearly” physical I’d had in at least 7 years, but who’s counting ;). Between the bloodwork and the tetanus shot, I’ve been feeling pretty run-down ever since. I never figured going to the doctor would make me feel worse! Thank goodness today is my Friday!
The turntable is perfect for when I’m doing odd jobs around the apartment. Always gotta have some music on!
iPod is dead (and also apparently needs to be factory reset again… this thing might be on its last legs), so I’ve been listening to Joe Pug on repeat. Sorry. (But not that sorry.)
