It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten my act together to take pictures, but i’m back joining Ginny again this week & sharing what I’ve been crocheting and reading.

What I’ve been crocheting is the same as always. The flowers. Thanks to my amazing girlfriends here, all the boutonnieres are assembled, and 5 of the 7 bouquets are mostly done. The other two are still bunches of flowers in ziploc bags, and the corsages are still in progress… but it’s getting there!

I’ve been branching out from print reading lately; to switch it up from podcasts, I’m also listening to audiobooks on the way to and from work, the latest of those being Me Before You. I liked it, but I was also a bit disappointed. I don’t want to say much more than that without giving away the plot! I’ve also started reading eBooks through the Kindle app on my phone. I may not always have a book with me, but I’ve usually got my phone, so that makes it easy to nip away at lunch and get a few chapters in while I’m eating. I’ve started Duel with the Devil, which has been a bit dry thus far, so I’m supplementing that with a little chick-lit, called Sweet Tea and Secrets. I’ve actually had a hard time putting it down!

  1. Oh my goodness, those flowers are beautiful and oh so delicate looking. This might be a great future idea for my daughter when she gets married as she is very allergic to flowers. I’m so glad I saw this. Your photos are beautiful.

    1. Oh, that would be a great idea for someone who’s allergic! Hopefully you’d have crocheting friends who’d be willing to help, because it’s a big undertaking… I definitely don’t regret taking this on, but I’ve been working on these since January, over 200 flowers in total!

    1. Thank ya! I know absolutely nothing about flower arranging, so it’s been a bunch of sticking a flower in someplace, then deciding I don’t like it 🙂
