Ta da! These booties were part of a baby present commissioned by my mom for her boss. He and his wife just had a baby girl! I like how these turned out, the pink with the stripes is adorable. Take a peek.
I did of course manage to screw a little thing up (it wouldn’t be one of my creations if there wasn’t something…) The side openings are supposed to open facing towards the back, but that doesn’t screw up the aesthetic too much. You’ll also notice that I don’t have any pictures of the flap opened up… that’s on purpose. My sewing skills are… less than stellar. I wish I could have handed that part off to someone with a little bit neater hand. Oh well.
See those soles? Yes, I did have to poke 50 holes in each leather sole before I could even start crocheting into them. #1 reason why I will never make these again, no matter how cute they are.
As always, pattern, yarn & hook info are all in that ravelry project!
