WIP Wednesday! Yarn Along edition

Y’all. I’ve been working on this bib, pattern from Robyn Chachula, that I want to love, because I love her, but. It is SO FRUSTRATING. The pattern wording is really ambiguous, and I think that really is what bit me in the butt the first time. Yes, the first time. Because I’ve already frogged it once, about 50% of the way through. It was just looking way too wonky for me to salvage. And now i’m about 30% into my 2nd try, and my stitch counts are wrong. *Sigh.* My newest plan is to start a new bib with another color and pay closer attention to the stitch counts to see if I can figure out where I messed up the pink one (and possibly minimize the amount I have to frog this time).

Honestly, I’d have given up already if these were just my own project, but my mom commissioned me, and now it’s become a personal battle to figure this out! Everyone on Ravelry seems to be having the same issues that I am. Has anyone actually successfully made one of these?
