I know I’ve said this before, where I’ve compared the pieces of my 2012 mystery blanket to works of art. Well I’m serious. Serious enough to frame one!
It was a Christmas present for my Mom, and she loved it. She’s contemplating hanging it above their bed, once the repainting of that room is done.
This is my favorite motif from the afghan project, and I just love how it looks framed. Once I got it back from Michaels, I left it as long as I could just leaning up against the chair in my living room before wrapping it up to take home for Christmas. Speaking of Michaels, major shout-out to the lady who patiently stood there with me for over a half an hour, picking out and comparing matts and frames, finding the exact right combination.
You can see the rest of my progress on the 2012 mystery afghan out on ravelry.
