Ok, I apologize ahead of time for the sheer number of exclamation points I’ll end up using in this post. By the time i’m through, you’ll probably be sick of me. But I can’t help it! I’m just so dang excited to share this FO with y’all!
I was kind of tickled when I went back to mark my Ravelry project as finished that it took me almost a year to the day to complete this guy. I started it pretty much immediately after my friends got engaged, and I guess it’s a good thing I did, since it got finished *just* in time — 3 or 4 days before the wedding!
The first time I really got to talk to my friends after they’d returned from their honeymoon I was gchatting with my one friend, and she was just gushing about how much the loved the afghan, it brought tears to my eyes. She told me at first, her husband didn’t believe i’d made it, because it looked too nice! That’s definitely the best compliment any crocheter can get! I love that they loved the afghan as much as I enjoyed making it.
The color in the photos is all a bit wonky (I haven’t quite mastered the art of lighting my photographs yet…) but the first picture is probably the closest to the actual off-white of the afghan.
